Jamie Despirito, DVM

Dr. Jamie DeSpirito is Chief of Staff at Ringwood Animal Hospital. She has lived in New Jersey for most of her life, having grown up in Ringwood and now residing in Rockaway. Dr. DeSpirito completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont and then went on to earn a DVM degree at the University of Wisconsin.

Prior to joining our team, Dr. DeSpirito worked at Antietam Valley Animal Hospital in Reading, PA and Animal Care Center in Flanders, NJ. She has special interests in anesthesia and pain management, pet nutrition, and alternative veterinary medicine.

When she's not working, Dr. DeSpirito enjoys woodworking, home remodeling, baking, yoga, swimming and other water sports! Most of all, she loves spending time with her three rescue dogs — Stewie (a Pointer/Jack Russell mix), Bertram (a Puggle/Boston Terrier mix), and Griffin (a Lab/German Shepherd mix).
